Fun in the Sun

I went to an audition this past Friday at 10am. That probably doesn't sound like much news to you, BUT to the singers that may or may not being reading this, that's really early. The funny thing was, I was so friggin nervous because I didn't know what the hell kinda sound was gonna come out at that time. I can barely speak let alone sing opera before 12noon. The auditioners were super sweet and understanding about the situation. One week later, I've been accepted into their Summer Performing Series. More details on that later.

After the aud, my friend Lori and i had pancakes and went to the grand opening of the Lawn at Lincoln Center. The grass seemed to be real! I guess that's probably because it is real I dunno. They gave out free Lemonade and Gelato. I think it will be a fun place to kick it and read a book whenever you're waiting to do stuff over there.

Thanks for reading :)

Wait, there's a lawn there?

Yeah, they just made one! It's on a slope. Feels like a raked stage. It's actually kind of strange.
