I'm singing in a competition tomorrow and I needed to get my hair done BADLY before I went on to do it. The thing was, it looked like it was going to rain at any given moment. I was nervous that I would get caught in the rain and look like a wet dog tomorrow. SO, I had this inner conflict all morning and early afternoon until finally I left my house to walk to the hair salon. When I turned the corner, I noticed the police car first. Then I saw all the people looking at the police car..then I saw 5 police officers around one girl with rollers in her hair, presumably coming out of the hair salon I was on my way to. They were trying to get her into the backseat and she was fighting them, with her shoulders[?] because she was totally in handcuffs.
She was telling them how much of a joke they were, "You're a joke," the police officer replied,"and that's why *you're* going to jail right now".So I walked inside the salon anyway because, hello? I needed to get my friggin hair done...the police were already there, they seemed to have the situation under control beside a little shoulder jousting. There were a few ladies in there so I had to sit around for a while. I eventually found out the whole story from the owner: The shoulder-boxing girl who was cursing out the police while being arrested [psychooo
] had apparently stolen 20 dollars from my hair dresser's bag as soon as she came in. Maybe to pay for her hair? She said she was getting some candy. Candy? Really? What she didn't know was that the ladies caught it all on camera and saw exactly what she did. They washed her hair like nothing happened and when she was under the dryer, my beautician went into the bathroom and called the police to haul her out of there. The po-po came in, she denied everything of course and tried to run away. Maybe that's why there were 5 of them for this small crazy woman. Then they found "drugs" in her bag. Oops! Somebody's day just got a WHOLE LOT WORSE. They eventually handcuff her and ask my beautician to go to the precinct to file a complaint...great! What about MY hair?!Ugh!
