I spent 4 hours at my Alma Mater today. Starting at 10am. I thought that maybe I wouldn't be excited about that, you know, the whole getting up early thing, but no..it was awesome! Ahh gosh, it was so inspiring to remember where I came from as an artist. To know that THAT was my foundation, and that was what began me on this less traveled road!! Hmm...I gotta do a small speech for the Alumni Concert, I should just put what I just said in there. Oh yeah, killin two birds with one stone baby!
Yeah so that rocked! Got to give an impromptu voice lesson to a girl with a lovely voice and all the high schoolers made me feel like a rock star coming up to me all starstruck after I sang a little 2 second solo. Then, the dude who was singing a bunch of solos got sick and the choral director asked me if I knew any baritones that could sing it. haha. I feel like I dont know anyone BUT baritones. So hopefully I got that all squared away and my baritone comes through.
Afterward, I played the Sims for a little too long and had a dinner date with April! That was my saturday!! Singing beautiful music at my old high school and dining with my bestie!
I love my life!!!!!!!!!
