I am the walrus.

I totally forgot to blog about yesterday, which I was hoping I wouldn't! So let's cue the flashback music( a la Wayne's World)....

It was all a dream. I used to read Word Up Magazine. Hah, just kidding. Somehow, I ended up at The Hearst Tower yesterday which houses O Magazine. I was searching through audition pages and ended up finding one for a makeover article. I figure I need one, why not?

They email me back (ha! I just saw my contact on the 6 train as I'm mobile blogging) and basically tell me I don't fit that group but maybe I want to do a bathing suit makeover.

Flash forward to yesterday, where I find myself in the most expansive, lavish, I dunno..amazing building on my way up to take pictures in my old bathing suit for O Magazine. There were hi-tech gateway entry things to tally the vistors, a cascading waterfall surrounding the escalators. On the mezzanine level, it looked like there was a built in Whole Foods but just the restaurant part. Large glass windows, it was soggy out and the natural light still seemed to illuminate the floor sufficiently. Multiple coffee tables with white daisies in cute glass vases, comfy chairs, everything seemed white and impeccable. I was dumbfounded by it all. I felt like I'd never been to a nice place before or something!

There was an elevator man who told you exactly which elevator to get on to take you to the exact floor you needed. I felt like I should've been wearing a gown instead of slacks. What a frigging amazing place! Anyway, I went upstairs to audition for the apparent modelling gig I unknowingly signed up for. I put on my old bathing suits and didn't look terrible. And then I put on some new bathing suits and looked fierce!! They said they'd contact as when they know who they want for the 'photo shoot' haha. What the hell? I do the most random things sometimes!

xoxo :))))

it's really funny because, when i was like a size 2, i would NEVER have done something like that hahah!!! but i mean, it's O Magazine! So they know what real women look like and how to dress them! i haven't heard back yet so I'll see what happens!
