I left my phone home today!
I didn't realize it until I was about 5 minutes away from home in my car. Under normal circumstances, I would've turned my car around immediately to retrieve it...but I think the only reason to get it from home would be so I could twitter and potentially mobile blog? It was no use being late for that. I sang at Darrell's church up in Yonkers. I was super late so I floored it all the way there. Some Julliard kids rocked out the Prelude and the Postlude with some Bach fugues. I said Bravo/Brava to them and they seemed weirded out that I knew that word and it's appropriate usage...?
After church, we went to the diner and then we headed down to Chelsea to see Suor Angelica. I can't believe people don't like that opera! It was stupendous...especially if you are in love with Puccini as much as I am. I think I really like it because I'd like to sing the role some day. Hmm here's hopin'!
