Tumultuous Thursdays

I did this thing on my twitter today where I brought everyone along with me for my day by listing missions. It was really the only way I'd be able to get through the day alive.

::Ahem::
1. Dentist Dilemma I finally made a dentist appointment for this Thursday at ten and although it got in the way of my cardio for the day, I said let's just go for it. I get there and fill out some papers and am seated in the little chair for X-Rays. not only was this the most uncomfortable x-ray experience, it was also the slowest and most frustrating. She kept pushing the x-ray teeth dividing device down on whatever the hell that is beneath your tongue. Ugh I was like what the hell is the cleaning gonna be like? The cleaning sucked, I feel like my teeth looked dirtier when I left. not to mention that I have a cavity and I need to get my wisdom tooth out. Good, good.

2. Car Catastrophe So then, I had to get my car situation straightened out before alternative side parking hit. I had one of the guys come with me to my car around the corner to show me how to reconnect the battery etc. He promptly told me that ladies now know how to change their own oil and that I need to get with the program. What kind of ladies to do you mean, sir? I don't even know how to open the hood. By the end of all the excitement, I found out my brake pads are non-existent and some other stuff that I don't remember and that the bill would be sky high and that I will have to just forget about having money. So I made the very "going green" decision of getting the brake lights fixed and not using my car until I can pay for the rest of the shiz.

In between these two things, I had to go get some protocols for my cat-sitting/house sitting gig for the next 2 weeks and I was going to learn some Guerrilla cardio with my Opera friend in the city. After calling the bank, discover card and Sallie Mae, I decided that I should stay in Brooklyn before my brain melts. So those things were postponed.

3. Bank Brawl Which was not really a brawl at all. This uber, uber cool banker chick was there and she totally remembered me from the fiasco yesterday or whenever the hell i went there previously. I sat down with her and told her about my career choice which she was totally into. She gave me all these ideas about how to find work and stuff, things that may or may not work but the thought was there and it was way more than I expected to get out of closing my bank account. I felt bad walking into the Chase bank directly across the street afterward.

4. Take myself home and tie up loose ends

I walked a crapload and even got to go to a Dream Interpretation class tonight which was just about the most amazing and rewarding thing I've done in a while. So today was completely out of control, but I got 'er done folks...I got 'er done!

Thanks for reading!! xoxoxo
