The Weekend...

was fun! (Mobile blogging: activate!)

I went to my friend Mike's gallery opening at his store on Thurs w/my friend Josh. He just so happened to be having a bday celebration the next night. I always have a great time with Josh and co. so I got April to come out to Brooklyn and party with us! We hit this place up called Deity on Atlantic ave. Despite the outrageous prices for drinks (or maybe that's how much they cost everywhere?), it's a cool spot with a good crowd that I will definitely revisit.

I don't remember much about Saturday. I think I went to the library or something. Then, Sunday I had a church gig at my boy Darrell's church. It was a lovely day and we had lunch and discussed important things, like video games and other types of food we could go for if we weren't having pizza. Later on, I got to look at some awesome shops along Vanderbilt ave. *Tangent: I've been spelling 'Vanderbilt' wrong throughout my entire adult life.* Including a used book store, with a funny sign. Then there was Father's Day! We made all the delicious southern food my Daddy likes to eat. After that, I ended the night with a summer solstice service at the COL in Brooklyn.

Thanks for reading!!
