Taking of the Pelham 123 Tuesdays

I'm on the train mobile blogging right now after seeing that fantastic movie! Kinda makes you afraid to take the train though. I won't give it too much of a review because I want you to see it and tell me what you think too. But, what I will say is that it suspended my reality for 2 hours. I really though this all was happening. There weren't many inconsistencies, like most movies based New York tend to have, with the train routes and the name of streets. They brought the movie completely current to what's goin on here. And it was just so damn realistic, like yes, that's precisely how that would go down on the train if it were hijacked. I still think they should've taken the FDR..hah, you'll see what I mean!

But before that deliciousness, I woke up kind of early at the summer house, fed the cats and wasted time online. I also tried calling Discover Card to settle some tomfoolery they've been creating. On my way home from that area, I heard a girl on the train talking about her incarceration:

Girl: Yoo, I told you about that time I got locked up? YoOo I was *so* mad!

We all switched trains at the same time so I had the pleasure (and by pleasure I mean, not pleasure) of hearing that they 'put the cuffs on her mad tight' and that she 'cursed that cop out and said they aint have nothin on her'. Listen, I wasn't trying to listen but I'm sure she thought she was impressing everyone on the train. Some people looked impressed though. I was on the Franklin Ave. Shuttle so what do you expect?

So then, I went home to change before movie and took the bus to the post office. There's a branch that stays open super late so all the people that like to wait until the last minute to mail things (**mmeee!**) go there to die. And by 'die' I mean wait in line for the rest of their lives. There were about 17 people in line and 2 windows. I ended up giving a lady a dollar for one stamp and peaced outta there.

If you follow me on twitter, I've been kinda mentioning these things all day. Now you have the unabridged version!

Yay?
